Custom cuts do not cost that much and the designer (Kathryn LaCroix) is usually available to answer difficult design questions. Allure does not up-charge plus size ladies for any of their styles. You may need a hollow-to-hem measurement that may cost anywhere from 50 to 100.00. A good destination gown in that size range should cost between 150.00 and 500.00 depending on the designer and fabric. If you need further help, shoot me an email. David's Bridal has a great woman's department. Sydneys Closet online has some gowns. There are alot of different designers that have a Women's line now, Jessica McClintock, Alfred Angelo, Mon Cheri, etc. I have this problem too, good luck.
