Wedding gowns don’t come in petite, sorry. David’s Bridal has a great woman’s department. Sydneys Closet online has some gowns. There are alot of different designers that have a Women’s line now, Jessica McClintock, Alfred Angelo, Mon Cheri, etc. I have this problem too, good luck.

P.S. - don’t be surprised when you have to buy a gown in like a size 22. Sizes are bizarre in wedding gowns. Also, don’t be surprised when they charge you extra for the plus size. It *****. Good Luck

all good desiners make dresses in a variety of sizes. moonlight bridal (www.moonlight, marys bridal, davinci.etc..i sugges getting a modern bride and looking at the designers to get an idea of what you like then finding a bridal salon that will help you shop and see some of htem in person. if they give you are hard time about size selection find some place else, becasue there are plenty of options and they can order sample dresses for you to see. do not buy a dress just becasue of the way it looks! you need someone who works in this field to help you with fit, style and everything else. if you order online you run the risk of having a dress that will not fit right and that you **** in person. a good alterations person will get it to fit like a glove

I think your best bet would be to get a dress that you love and have it hemmed.

Do a plus size bridal gown search on ebay. I know it sounds crazy, but you can get a beautiful dress custom made for you, at a very good price! Congratulations and good luck.

Aurora D’Paradiso at theformalsource.com is a great plus company. Custom cuts do not cost that much and the designer (Kathryn LaCroix) is usually available to answer difficult design questions. Allure does not up-charge plus size ladies for any of their styles. You may need a hollow-to-hem measurement that may cost anywhere from 50 to 100.00. A good destination gown in that size range should cost between 150.00 and 500.00 depending on the designer and fabric. If you need further help, shoot me an email. I do this for a living and don’t mind giving a little free advice.
