I have learned to sew so that I can hem them up. Jeans need to be hemmed with a sewing machine to look right, but dress slacks are easy to hem by hand, and look better that way. If you don't want to try sewing them yourself, find a local dry cleaners that does alterations, and get them done there, or find a seamstress in your area. I just fold mine under. Petite sizes never fit me right, they always look like high waters on me. They either fit in the rise but are far too long in the leg or they fit in the leg but the rise is far too short. I finally decided to fit my pants to the rise and then hem them. Dont just cut them off as they will get frayed but hem them afterwards. Learning to sew is not a big deal and is really easy to learn. If you don't like to sew, then find a local seamstress who will hem them for you. It might cost $10 but then you have a pair of pants that fit GREAT!
