Best designer jeans for petite but curvy?

I need to invest in a good, high end pair of jeans. I’m about 5′ 3″. Kinda curvy, not fat. I **** jeans shopping and am just wondering what is a good brand for a shorter woman. I love a very dark color. As for “skinny jeans”, there’s no way they would work. Any suggestions or good websites where I could search on jeans for a particular body type? Thanks!
