Where kind of clothes should I get?
littlestar asked:
I am going to return to work soon enough, but I don’t know how to dress. I am 27 years old and I am a mommy to small kids (both will be under 4).
I want to dress young, but mommy appropriate. I can’t decide what to wear. I have been told that I dress too old and I didn’t noticed until I went to Simmons ( a Canadian store) and saw a 60 ish woman picking up the same cardigan like me!
Any suggestions of what I should wear given the fact that I work as an Early childhood educator and I am petite?
I want to be hip mommy without looking like I am trying to look young.Any tips?

I would wear tailored pants, and a blazer with a brightly colored camisole under it.

A woman your age can wear a cardigan… it’s all about HOW you wear it. Layer it over a matching cami or tank and a skirt or a pair of khakis.
Avoid wearing long skirts. They will definitely make you look older than you are. Pencil skirts are very work appropriate and are always in style.
Dress business casual. Check out the clothes under the work section of websites like Old Navy.com to get some ideas.
Good luck!

In your spare time watch the show What not to wear its on TLC and they are always helping out people like you and they can show you a good mommy on the go look. But ask a family member (your kids dont count) to suggest you for that show, if you get on the show, you get 5,000 dollars to shop in NYC. Also they help you with your fashion and you get a new hair and make up look as well. You probably wont get on the show, just cause so many people apply, but you know, ANYTHING is possible!
Hope this helps3
