I have the Hotsling and I love it. They have very specific sizing info on their website, so make sure that you read through their recommendations. I found that their sizing was true to my normal shirt size. You would probably be a size 1. You can also find them on eBay!

The other kind you might be interested in is a Moby wrap, or some other wrap. The wraps are just a length of fabric and are therefore completely adjustable. They're great because you can have just one wrap and it will fit both you and your husband. Since you tie it to fit you, a wrap always works.

I am a short person as well and I wear ring style slings for my babies. I actually make them instead of buying them. What is use is similar to a maya wrap and they are totally adjustable no matter how small you are. They are also so much better than those mass produced baby carriers that just don't give you that closeness with your baby.

I am totally not soliciting you, but I could make you one too...

It is so great to see you thinking about babywearing! It is so good for the little ones!

I wish I could tell you that there was a sling made for us lol.. but every sling i've tried has either put a strain on my back or had my shoulder hurting.. I stuck to strollers... I am now pregos with my second baby and am debating trying out slings from... I don't know how they will feel or anything but it's worth a try...

i got an infantino sling that was very nice, it looks like a hammock and goes across. i just don't like slings so i never used it!

there are also some that you tie around, sort of, that may work.

and the backpack ones that go in the front for when the baby can sit alone. I saw a very small woman with one of those at the mall the other day!

hope that helped

Honestly, im 5'1 and about 94lbs now. Even after i had my daughter, and my son, none of the slings fit me. There is a site online (i cant remember the name right now) that will custom make your sling. You tell them what the length from your shoulders to your hips are, shoulder to shoulder, and a few other measurement (all in inches) and the pattern of the sling that you want. They will custom make one that will fit you perfectly. I think that if you went to yahoo.com or google.com and type in 'custom slings' that the site will pop up.

Good luck and congrats!! :)
