Good petite pregnancy clothes?
clivencheese asked:
Help! I’m in the stage where I’m not exactly showing, but my regular clothes are so uncomfortable! I tried on some jeans tonight, and they sag something fierce! They fit in every way except the crotch was at my knees.

Does any one have any tips on finding pregnancy clothes for petites? I’m thinking I’m going to have to cave and get the bella band. I’m afraid, though, that thing going to roll up while I’m teaching and my students are going to get a show.

why do you wanna wear tight preggy clothes? ur being hard on ur baby. just let go and use the flowy ones. don’t worry, they say a pregnant woman is the most beautiful!

Motherhood Maternity and Thyme Maternity both carry pants that you can adjust at the waist as you expand and then again as your tummy goes down after you have the baby. They are called before and after pants and they don’t look like pregnancy pants at all. Sadly, once you are very, very obviously showing, you may have to abandon them, but it’s great for that in-between stage.

Honestly I gave up on most maternity clothes. I **** maternity jeans! I was a size 4 petitte before I got pregnant. I tried many different maternity shops and stores and I rarely found anything that would look good and fit. My sister gave me some of hers and that was just as bad.
I finally just bought clothes in a larger size. I bought yoga pants in size or two up and other things that would stretch a bit. Also baby doll dresses and peasant tops are great. For pants anything with a ultra low rise is great and for tops anything empire is wonderful.
Good luck and happy shopping!

I love Old Navy maternity clothes. They are very inexpensive.
You can alter the lenght of the pants if they are too long. It also comes in short. Lowrise pants are good. Babydoll and flowing tops are great. You can also buy regular flowing dresses in the next size up. There maternity rib tank tops are so comfortable and cheap! Plus they ship everything for $5.
