You should go to Stores like Rainbow, G+G, DEB, NY Company. If you Have a rugged warehouse. I say go there because those stores have a plus size along with their regular section and you can try on jeans from both sides. Because just because you wear a size 16 in one doesn’t mean you wear a size 16 in everybodys. They are less expensive too.

I buy the Levi Strauss jeans at Wal-Mart for approximately $20 and I love the way they fit. I’m the same size as you.

I have come into the same problem. Depends on where you live. I live in Western Canada and use some big box stores like Zellers, Superstore, Sears. I have found Walmart does carry a lrg supply of petite jeans priced very reasonably. It probably is best if you try on the jeans as every style is different. Look for flaws in the material.I wont buy flawed jeans as they dont last as long. Hope this helps you

Wal-Mart - they have Levi’s

Levi’s 525’s or 515’s size 16 S (for short) They fit nice. You can buy them at JC Penny, Sears, Mervyns, etc. They usually run about $29.99 and last a long time.
