Size 0 Pants are Too Big for Me! Help?
WolfLover90 asked:
Finding pants and shorts that actually fit me is abosolute agony whenever I go shopping. I’m in the age group of 16-19, am 5′2, and have a slender/athletic hourglass body type. According to the size charts, I’m a size 0/1/2 (depending on the brand). But whenever I go shopping, I’ll put on the clothes of that size, and they’ll simply slide right off of my hips; I can pull them on/off with ease even without unbuttoning/unzipping them!

I live in a rural area, so the only local stores that are avliable are JC Penney, WalMart, and a local clothing shop. The nearest big city is over 2 hours away.
Could anyone please tell me where I can find small/petite clothing that have consistant clothing sizes? Are there any sizes that are smaller than size 0?
Thank you!
Oh, and whenever I wear my pants, I have to wear a belt to hold them up. Unfortunately, when I pull it to where it fits, it looks all funky.
I suppose I’ll have to go look at the kids’ section. . .
My BMI is 19.9, by the way. I’ve gone to the doctor and asked if I’m underweight, but apparently I’m perfectly healthy.
Petite size

Just wear Junior or Kids sized clothing. It’s much smaller than Adult size.

Kids, or American Eagle, The Limited, Bebe etc do carry 00 sizes. Also look for pants with a lot of stretch to them, they tend to run smaller.

well if those pants are sliding off of you, i don’t think your hips are too hourglass like.
since you are that short, i would check out the kids section, and try on size 12/14 pants.
good luck!!

That’s a hard one. I have a friend like you and I am extremely jealous. But I do know pacsun has good jeans with sizes 00 but that’s only in the mall. Have you considered seeing a doctor to see if you can gain a little weight? It’s actually a good thing and you don’t have to become fat, just a little more healthy. This seems kind of weird but maybe you could try a size 16 in kids sizes jeans long. It might work and you can find that at any clothes store. Maybe try to shrink your jeans. Good Luck

I have the same problem! Well….some places have clothing sizes in 00 (double zeros). You could check online and maybe order a pair on sale to see if they fit you, since most of the time they don’t have them in stores. Also, if you ever travel to the big town someday, you could try shopping at Abercrombie (Kids). That’s where I go to get my jeans. I like them because they aren’t kiddish, fit well, and have a not-too-bad price (about $40 dollars.). I am the same size as you, 5′ 2 and hourglass shape, and these jeans fit me PRETTY well. Hope this helped!!

Oh and for the people saying that she’s bragging this is an actual problem for people, don’t be rude because your jealous.

Well, i used to have the same problem. But with you being in a rural area, that makes it an even bigger problem. My suggestion to you is to visit a couple of online websites and order pants from there. I think a size double 0(00) would be perfect for you. Try going to wetseals website, there pants have an excellent fit and come in many petite sizes. [www.wetseal.com]
