Hi!! I use to be a chunky kid myself, so I can understand the frustration, especially at that age. I would stay away from brands that cater to her age group (aka PINK, JUICY). Instead I would take her to a store like Express, they cater to women in their late teens/early twenties but have sizes that go up to a size 14.  This way, she can have the best of both worlds, fashionable clothes that don't make her look matronly as well as clothes that properly fit her and wont make her look like she is dressing beyond her years.
