Ahhh! I am a typical guy! I was thinking large, looks like medium wins the day.
The last thing I want to do is call her fat!

I would say medium, a large can end up being a little big. It also depends on the type of sweatshirt you’re getting. If it’s a skinny cut one, you might have to go up a size, but if it’s like a college one, a medium should be fine.

If she’s petite, go for the small.
For future experiences, depending on the coat, you may have to go up a size. For example, if it is a jacket with buttons and made out of a fabric that doesn’t stretch, go for a size larger. That is essential if she has around a B or C cup size. But for sweatshirts, you don’t have to think along those lines.

Look at other sweatshirts she wears and find the tag. Or you could just hold up the sweatshirt and try imagining her wearing it, try to figure out if the size is right. If nothing else, just go with what you think is right and get a gift receipt so that if it doesn’t fit, she can exchange it. It’s the thought that counts, though!

It depends on her frame size. Is she petite? Then medium would be the best bet. Medium would also be good for an average sized woman. If she has a larger frame, then large would be good. You also have to take into consideration how big her ***** are. I have a small frame but I also wear a 36D, so I have to wear a large most of the time. Maybe you could somehow get a peek of her closet without her knowing… Good luck!

i wouldn’t get her a large that might insult her try getting her a medium and give her the receipt.
Or ask one of her friends or next time at her house look at the size of her sweaters

Don’t get a large. It’s only a safe bet if you’re just begging to get dumped. If you think she’s average, a medium would be good, but a small would be better. She’ll be flattered out of her mind by the gesture. Just put the receipt in with the gift. She could take it back if she doesn’t fit.
But in the event that she couldn’t take it back for some reason, like your buying her clothes from a different city that says that city’s name on it or campus gear or something personalized, you should go with the medium, just to be safe.
