Does anyone know of a clothing line that makes clothes for thin toddlers?
GreenEyedSista asked:
My 3yr old daughter is thin. I have to use a belt with all of her jeans. Children’s clothes seem to be made for larger children. Anyone else run into this problem, and if so what clothing line caters to thinner children? I see plus size for children but is there a petite? She wears a 3T.
yozombiesmama: Being a mother has nothing to do with my question. I am asking if anyone knows of a clothes line that does not require alterations.

I have a small daughter too. Just buy smaller clothes, OR you can take the waistlines and fold them out once or twice to make them cinch better.

I have the same problem. My daughter is tall and thin. They make bigger clothes because our kids are obese in these states.

Sears as well as Montgomery Wards sells slim sizes. Also I believe Walmart does as well.

Seriously, you’re a mother. Learn how to hem clothing, or take it to a tailor. My daughter is short, but ‘normal’ size…so I always have to tailor her pants.

Try the Children’s Place. They are a little pricey but they have great clothes.

My son is 3 yrs old and has an 18 inch waist and long legs and arms. I look for jeans and pants that have the elastic in the band and on the inside of the band there is button and you can stretch the elastic out and there are slits to put the buttons through to make the pants tighter with out bulging like they do with a belt. Kohls, walmart, Old Navy ,and ToysRus have them. That is the only thing I know. If I cant find them my mom takes up in the waist.
