Can I add hem to pants that are too short? Letting the hem down won’t work?
daffodil asked:
These are dark brown wrinkle resistant chinos with slightly flared legs. I have to wear the smallest size (2 petite) to get the waist to fit, but the length is too short. I tried to have the hem let down, but because they are wrinkle resistant, the iron crease wouldn’t come out. Does anyone have any suggestions for adding length to these pants? They are pants that I would wear to work, so nothing too crazy. I love the way they fit everywhere else!

Try wiping the crease mark with vinegar and then ironing under a cloth until it is dry. You might need to rinse and do it several times.
