Shopping in the petites section of a department store makes me feel like an old lady (I’m in my 20s!) and often the pants/skirts are too long anyway. I would like to look professional, yet fashionable.

Does any one have any tips on finding pregnancy clothes for petites? I’m thinking I’m going to have to cave and get the bella band. I’m afraid, though, that thing going to roll up while I’m teaching and my students are going to get a show.

Im 19 and 5ft1in tall with a healthy weight of 7st12lbs and i am happy with my body.i dont wear heels apart from special ocasions and im ok wid that.the problem is that i have an overall petite frame and i felt really self conscious today when i realised that a pair of shorts from new look made for a 13 year old fit me, and more, that this 13 year old girl is already supposed to be taller than me
i just cant find clothes on the high street that fit me properly. a standard size 8 pair of jeans from shops such as new look, primark, peacocks, just hangs of my waist and makes me look even shorter and swamped under fabric because all this clothes seem to be made for taller people! and i do know about shops with petite ranges, such as topshop, miss selfridge and doroty perkins, but they’re a bit pricey for me atm (being a student and all).so i just wondered if there’s other girls out there who know about any other shops/websites which have cheap petite ranges. thanks

There has to be petite clothing out there that is not frumpy or dowdy. I may not be a junior size anymore, but I want my clothes to be more fun. Sag Harbor just doesn’t do it for me. Even the name is depressing!~
All good suggestions but very expensive. I don’t even know anyone who actually buys things from Nordstrom. Juniors is not an option no matter what size they are. I am curvy. Juniors are more straight up and down. Any other suggestions?

I take a size Petite Medium (I can’t wear Small because my chest is too big for it.) I have a real hard time shopping for clothes since I’m a very petite girl. I’m 22 years old, 4″11″ and weights 87lbs. I have no problems finding tops but bottoms are really hard to find. I sometimes shop in the kids section but the thing about kids clothing is that the waist will rise up to my stomach. I’m small but I have an adult frame/ figure so kids clothes fit me but it fits very uncomfortably.
