I was invited to a Bar Mitzvah and I need a dress.
I’m pretty petite for a thirteen year old.. as in I can be a size 12 at stores like Limited Too. Also, I have a pretty distinct style. I’m not your average Abercrombie wearing teen. The dress should be able to fit a girl like me, should be cute. Also, under 100 dollars would be great!

No-No Stores [because of sizing, style etc.] ; Forever 21, Abercrombie, Hollister, AE, Aeropostale, JC Penney, WalMart, Target, Sears, etc.

However, I’ve started feeling like I need a change in direction and want to do something different in life. The Air Force is something I’ve always been interested in, but my main concern was how I would cope with the lifestyle and also whether or not my size would affect my chances of making it through the rigors of training. I am about 5′1 and 100lbs…yeah, really petite.

My main question is: Anyone who has experience with OTS and being in the the Air Force or other branches of the military, how difficult is it for smaller or petite women? Would they give me less of a chance because I’m small, or can ability and hard work make up for it? It just seems like the military stresses the physical aspects and I know I’d be much smaller than everyone else, so I’m a little worried about this.

But, I didn’t feel like buying non-maternity summer bottoms because I’m sure in the coming months I will get bigger. I have a small bump (I’m really petite and thin) - I can even feel the top of my uterus (after a doc pointed out how it felt!). I felt so weird buying stuff so early. Anyone else like me?

I was wondering how their dresses run. I’m 14, 5′3, petite but not skinny. When I tried it on in store, the tracksuit jacket in size medium fit me best - not too snug but not too large either. I’ve never tried their dresses on though…But I know I’m definitely not a petite, since I saw one at Nordstrom Rack and it was TINY.
I also usually am an XL in tops at Abercrombie Kids and 14-16 in jeans. At J. Crew, the XS is a bit too big for me. At AE, I’m in between an XS and a S - neither of them quite fit me right. That should give a rough estimate of my size. Oh, I’m referring to adults sizing. I didn’t know they had juniors sizing at Juicy! Or is that the same as the kids?
