I am travelling to the Netherlands soon and as this is the preferred mode of transport over there I am looking to rent a bike. Problem is I am a petite woman 5ft, who is not used to bike riding and therefore would like to rent a bike a little smaller in size.

Will this be possible? I am aware Dutch people are generally tall (apparently tallest in the world according to statistics) and if most bike shops or bike rental shops allow for this?
