Womens Fashion – Whats The Latest Style Statement

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009
Henning M asked:

Finding the right dress for the type of your body shape is a MUST where you can smash up, even the super models! In order to get that right body wear you should know you’re self very well as wearing any kind of dress might make fashion faux in which you are not comfortable but you want to wear as it is in trend. You need to make the trend your self and set your OWN STLYE STATEMENT and make new rules, rather than going behind the actresses and models as they shape up their body through working out!

There are many do’s and don’ts while choosing an attire, especially if you are short or tall, bulky or thin, have big **** or small, long neck, color of your eyes and hair, etc. First impression is the last impression, as everyone knows, even in the fashion world especially for a woman where the opposite *** gets attracted. Also choosing the right fashion accessories is a must which should go well or blend well with the dress you are going to wear. Picking up any kind of dress you must know in and out of it, say the type of cloth you are choosing – cotton, silk, etc; how to wash it and iron it and maintain them well.

For a taller woman, wearing long skirts makes you look tall. If using belts over pants or skirts, don’t wear it too tight. High collared for those who have short neck is a NO, but better to go for a neck deep cut top to elongate your neck. To flatter your figure (for petite women), contrast colors are best by adding a scarf or belt with your pants or skirts. If you are heavy bottom, then use dark colors bottoms and tops light color because people will look at the light color and your bottom will be unnoticed being darker shade. Tapered skirts are strictly NO for your lower body. Woman who are heavy from the upper part of the body, use soft flowing fabrics. Use dark colors on top and light on the bottom. You can go for V-neck tops so that the upper part doesn’t show up too much. Just wear clothes according to the shape of your body and which is comfortable making your own trend and style statement.

Spring Travel

Monday, June 22nd, 2009
Harmony Sweets asked:

Spring has arrived, and it’s time to plan that ever-popular Spring Vacation. But where to go? Florida’s always packed to the gills, many of the Caribbean islands can be dicey politically, and Cancun is still in recovery mode after Hurricane Wilma. This year, why not branch out, head a little further south, and discover one of the world’s biggest countries - Brazil.

If your spring vacation always centers around a beach, Brazil has beaches aplenty. A great idea would be to head to Rio de Janeiro, home of some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Despite the reputation that Rio has for being dangerous, it’s normally quite safe for tourists who use common sense and are aware of their surroundings. Made infamous in song over forty years ago, Ipanema is a place to pay homage to all that is the beach. With over two miles of beautiful golden sand bordered by lush green mountains and a mosaic boardwalk, Ipanema gives you the golden opportunity to worship the sun, sand, and waves.

If you prefer to spend your vacations immersing yourself in local culture and cuisine, Sao Paulo is the place to be. The largest city in South America, Sao Paulo is home to some of the best Brazil has to offer. There are museums and sites galore, including the infamous Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo (MASP), an art museum designed by the renowned Italian architect Lina Bo Bardi. The Jardim Zoologico is considered to be one of the best zoological parks in the world, and Fundacao Maria Luiza e Oscar Americano is an amazing cultural center offering a look into Colonial Brazil.

To top it off, the restaurants in Sao Paulo are considered second-to-none and will give you a great taste of the local cuisine. You can’t leave Sao Paulo without trying the Brazilian version of the petit gateau, a mini chocolate cake filled with liquid chocolate and surrounded by ripe mango slices. It’s a taste sensation, to say the least.

Environmental treks can suit the fancy of many vacationers. The peak of the rainy season in Brazil has just ended, so it’s a beautiful time to explore the wonders of the Amazon. Manaus, capital of the Brazilian state of Amazonas, is home to well over a million people and is a great home base for exploring the Amazonian rainforests. There are many travel companies who offer tours from Manaus throughout the rainforest, giving you the opportunity to see this dwindling natural wonder first hand. You can also visit one of the centers of burgeoning hope for rainforest conservation, the “chocolate forests”. These plantings of cocoa trees within the heart of the rainforest are bringing forth forest-conserving insects, soil fertilization, and microclimate stability.

When booking your Brazilian vacation this spring, the beauty of this amazing country should leave you anxious to board the plane. You won’t be disappointed as you experience this exotic piece of South American paradise.

Prom Dresses for Different Body Types

Sunday, June 21st, 2009
Priyanka Arora asked:

Admit it, the chance to dazzle your friends is one of the perks of prom night. However, what with the many styles and choices of prom dresses, it is difficult to find the one that’s just right for you. Let this guide help you choose that perfect dress. Here are a few style tips tailored for every body type.

Some prom dresses are empire-cut; meaning, the waistline starts usually beneath the bust and continues on as a straight, long skirt. For those who are petite or have pear-like figures, this style is for you.

For those who have tall, slim physiques, the sheath design is highly recommended. It hugs the body, thereby providing a slimming silhouette from the shoulders down to the hemline.

The A-line cut, also called the “princess” cut, is perfect for anyone who has large hips and thighs. A bodice that hugs your body and continues down to become a full skirt can show your assets and hide your hips and thighs.

If you have long legs are an hourglass figure, consider the high-low gown. Its hem is cut shorter in the front and longer in the back to show off your shapely legs.

To show off your calves, you may want to consider tea-length dresses. They usually end a little below the knees. They come with or without sleeves, and a bodice that follows the curves of your body. This is ideal for thin, tall people.

If you feel that your legs are heavy, you can try a skirt that is puffed out, made from sheer rayon or silk.

For those who have plus-size figures, don’t despair! You shouldn’t be ashamed of your figure, and there are styles that will show off your assets and accentuate your curves to produce a beautiful you!

Dresses with A-line or empire cuts are ideal if you have large hips or a thick waist. Try bold colors like amethyst, lime, or sapphire to compliment your figure. You can also try pleats with an empire waistline. This can give beautiful results. Try to draw attention to your assets like putting beads, bows, or flowers on your dress.

With proper planning, you can pick out the perfect dress from the dizzying amount of choices you have online!

Out Shopping For The Right Bra?

Saturday, June 20th, 2009
Maria Keller asked:

Are you wearing the right bra size?

In a 21st Century full of technological advances within the bra industry it’s hard to imagine that 8 out of 10 women still wear bras that do not correctly fit. The important thing to consider when you go to shopping centres in the UK is, do you know whether your bra fits you correctly and does it really matter all that much if it doesn’t?

The most common reason many women do not wear the right bra size may simply be because they do not know how to choose the right bra size, type or cup or feel uncomfortable about being measured and have therefore have never been measured properly by a trained lingerie specialist. Hence women are suffering in silence with ill fitting bras.

There are of course aesthetic effects of wearing an ill fitting bra. If the chest size of a bra is wrong then the bra band will either appear too tight or too loose and as a result will feel uncomfortable. When the bra band is too tight it tends to force in the rib cage, or too loose and it will ride up. Too petite in the cup and the ******* will be squashed and possibly end up bulging at the sides. Too large and the material of the bra will pucker and look obvious under your clothes.

Aside from the potential embarrassment of wearing an ill fitting bra, there are also health problems to take into account. Wearing the right bra is particularly important when playing sport and can help prevent injury of the ****** tissue. It is also important for the posture of larger breasted women. Back problems and muscle tension can occur as a result of not wearing a correctly fitted bra. In the long term if your ******* do not get the support they need from a bra then they will start to droop and sag which is the last thing any woman wants!

It is quite easy to get an indication of whether you need to replace your bra if you see any signs of the following; slouching, ***** swinging, straps falling or red marks on your shoulders or back caused by your bra.

Finding the right size bra for you does not have to be difficult. Many shopping centres in the UK actually offer a free bra fitting service and staff are trained to find the ideal fit for you.

They can also help you with the style of bra to choose. Whilst you may prefer the softness of cotton or the support of an underwire bra, a lingerie specialist can help you find a bra to suit you and your requirements.

If you enjoy a lot of physical activity and sports then it is recommended that you invest in a sports bra. Designed to provide flexibility and support, the sports bra fabric keeps sweat and moisture at bay on the outside. Larger breasted women should ideally opt for a bra with both wide back and shoulder straps in order to get maximum support. A full cup is preferable to a half cup for coverage and aids in shaping the ******. Again an underwire bra will help with providing additional support.

For the smaller ladies out there, a balcony type bra gives the appearance of cleavage and padding at the sides and beneath the bust is a definite must!

Remember that most shopping centres in the UK have bra fitting experts that can help you!! So don’t continue on in discomfort - even if you are not sure if your bra is the wrong size as it is always worth double checking. Finally go for a bra that above all offers comfort.

The Samsung Tocco: Some Useful Features

Friday, June 19th, 2009
Mark Hirst asked:

Many mobile phones models are now Wi-Fi ready. The Tocco is not. This is a major let down for some users. Being tiny, its touch screen is also petite and for big fingered users this might present data entry problems.

Except for those who consider Wi-Fi connectivity something they cannot do without, the Tocco has qualities many will find attractive. It is a top of the line mobile phone comparable to the best out there in the market.

The way Tocco is designed is one of its many good features. It is sized just right and the materials used in its construction are of high quality giving it a classy look as well as solid feel in the hand. The back sports a tasteful brushed-up appearance which makes it attractive. The design is as much for looks as well as for durability.

The battery of the Tocco has proven to be durable. A single charge can last two days of heavy use. When used moderately, it can last up to five days on standby.  A major feat since other mobile phones of similar models cannot last that long.

The physical appearance of the Tocco is the first feature that potential customers will notice.  But there are others are less discerned by the eye.  Aside from the usual features such as 228MB internal memory, a 5-megapixel video camera for high resolution pictures, music player, etc., the Tocco works on GSM which alternates between networks providing best connectivity to the user.

Tocco’s built-in EDGE technology means a data transfer rate that is three times faster than the transfer rates of GPRS. It supports Bluetooth which comes complete with A2DP capability allowing users to experience great wireless connection between other devices such as a laptop, PC, printer and even Bluetooth headphones. It has a built in internet browser which makes surfing easier.

With these features and capabilities, the Tocco is definitely enjoying the attention of the market.
