armywife asked:

I LOVE Victoria Secrets clothes…yet they don’t make any clothes for people under 5′4″ WHY!? Every store i go into , whether its Express or whatever, all the jeans are sooo long on me. I’m 5′1″ and I am like 110lbs. i take like a size 2 or something…where can I buy jeans (not gramma looking jeans either) that will fit me in the leg!?!? I’m at the point now where I’m gonna take alll my jeans and get them tailored. Is there a store online that has petite jeans (keeping up with the latest trends that is)

Need help finding clothes. I am a small (petite)5 foot 1, 16 year old. some good online clothing stores?

Need advice quick… asked:

Please help! I don’t know what clothes would suit me. I have just turned 16 but I am at the stage where I don’t like my old clothes (they are also getting too short for me….I have grown a couple of inches). I know, I was even shorter than 5 foot 1 a year ago! What online clothes shops are there for petite teens (I have a small frame). I feel I don’t fit in. Everyone is so much taller and bigger than me! It’s almost embarrasing. What are some good shops online? I don’t want online shops for kids even though I’m pretty small. What makeup would suit me (I am after natural looking…I live in Australia.) I have dark brown hair, brown eyes and a rounded face. My skin is fair to normal although I tan right up in summer. I am after a mini makeover. Any suggestions?

Do any other petite women shop at Limited Too?

Kari asked:

I have a friend that has “tween” girls and that was how I was made aware of this store.
I think they have cute clothes but not too cute where they look like “kids clothes”.
The “plus” or equivalent to jr size they carry now works well for a petite woman. Especially for jeans.
I **** to admit but their “boy short” panties are the most comfy I have found recently.

Am I tall or petite? Where should I shop?

B asked:

I like shopping, and there’s often a tall and petite section. And I’m the kind of person who wants everything “arranged” and “organized” you know? But I’m not sure if I’m tall or petite. I’m 5′3 (15 years old) so that makes me petite, but people say I LOOK 5′7 which makes my build tall. I’m confused where to shop! And my friend bought me a shirt from petite section, and it fit right but it was was short for me.

My ex was like 5′6 and when people see us in pictures, everyone keeps asking “are you taller than him?”
Not really, my legs and torso are skinny so they look long.

Is The Size And Shape Of My Body Causing Me To Get Cellulite?

Louise Forrest asked:

For some reason the word cellulite is a dreaded word. It is a word that is feared amongst many women. This fear is due to a world that is very image conscious and one where magazines show celebrities having so called perfect bodies, but in reality such perfection does not exist.

What many people do not actually realise is that the body type of a person could be the reason for a person actually developing cellulite.

Now there are generally three of expressions to describe a body shape. Mainly that of apple shape, pear shape and lastly hourglass. But when it comes to having cellulite then there are four different ways to describe the body.

The first description is that known as android. Here a person will have very broad shoulders and will also be quite well built. Such people are generally seen to be athletes and weight train in order to gain a very muscular top half body.

Next there is the term known as gynaeoid and here the body is curvy with tiny shoulders and a very petite waist and the hips are also quite curvy too. When you put on weight it generally appears on the lower half of the body and this can lead to a very attractive figure. If you have a diet, you probably end up losing weight from parts of the body that do not need any actual weight loss.

Thirdly we have thyroid and here the body has very long arms and legs. If you have this body type then you seem to have a tendency to miss meals, crave for caffeine as well as cigarettes and you are fortunate that you never seem to actually gain any weight. But on the negative side you do crave sugar and other artificial stimulants and are quite tired a great deal of the time.

Finally we have the body type known as lymphatic and here weight gain is very easy to acquire and because you have a very slow metabolic rate then you are probably much bigger than you want to be.

Being of this body type means that you are at a greater risk of developing a more severe case of cellulite. You will crave dairy goods and you will **** to exercise, and these two factors alone will be a reason for weight gain.

Lymphatic, here weight is quite easily gained all over the body and a very low metabolic rate which is the reason for the easy weight gain. Such people are generally bigger than what they should be.

clothing question for petite women?

John Redcorn asked:

my fiance is 4″8′ and tells me she has the hardest time shopping for clothes. and now that we’re getting married, we’re going to buy some nice clothes for all the photos we’ll take leading up to the wedding, and we also want to look good on our honeymoon… if we can drag ourselves out of bed long enough… hehe!

anyways, where are some good places to shop for her clothes, and do you find that it works out better to get certain tops at one store and bottoms at another? i know some women do that, that’s why i ask.

i tried to ask her where she shops but she wont tell me, i think it’s because she has to go to the juniors sections sometimes.

ive heard victoria’s secret is a good place to shop for petite sizes, and that banana republic and gap are good too, (although seeing the way she likes to dress does not lead me to believe she prefers those two stores.) i think shes more of a trendy “hollister/american eagle” type of dresser.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
